"The Taylor reunion is a chance to talk, eat, drink and socialize with the people who make up our family. It's a chance to rediscover what you loved about growing up in the Taylor family. Its a time to talk about those nights sleeping on the floor at the bluff. Those world class dinners grandma made on a shoestring.The back porch. The hard times folks had in both money and life. No matter how bad it was you were always welcome at grandma's house. The warmth of a hug or handshake from a long missed Cousin, Aunt or Uncle. The knowing that no matter what happened, someone was looking out for you, praying for you and wondering about you. Being at the bluff at Grandma's house was like putting on an old comfortable pair of shoes it always felt right. As we all know that time has passed like all the seasons in life, but how much would you give for just one more Christmas at the bluff, just one more weekend on the floor without a/c, just one more meal prepared by grandma, just a chance to be at grandma's house again. This reunion is what we do for the kids in the hope that someday they will remember these days and the things people did because they are family.
